Objective To discuss the application effects of modified Minnan Jingfang Sishen Decoction in remission stage of asthma children. Methods A total of 106 remission stage of asthma children from January 2020 to June 2021 in Department of Pediatrics, the Affiliated Dongnan Hospital of Xiamen University were selected as research subjects. They were divided into the control group and the observation group by random number table method, with 53 cases in each group. The control group took western medicine, and the observation group took western medicine and modified Minnan Jingfang Sishen Decoction.Treatment effects and safety were probed. Results The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO), emergency frequency and asthma attack frequency in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Traditianal Chinese medicine symptom scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).After treatment, lung function indicators in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and CD8+level was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).The total incidences of adverse reactions between two groups showed no statistically significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion The modified Minnan Jingfang Sishen Decoction can reduce the clinical symptoms, and improve the lung function, immune function and treatment safety for remission stage of asthma children.
