Abstract:Objective To analyze the application value of targeted nursing care in elderly patients with acute appendicitis after laparoscopic appendectomy (LA) in the lower thrombosis. Methods A total of 80 elderly patients with acute appendicitis who underwent LA in our hospital from October 2018 to October 2019 were selected and divided into control group (n=50) and study group (n=50) according to the pattern of odd and even numbers, the control group received routine nursing and the study group received targeted nursing. The incidence of lower extremity thrombosis, the levels of D-Dimer(D-D), fibrinogen (FIB) and satisfaction with nursing care were compared between the two groups at 1, 3 and 7 days after operation. Results The incidence of lower limb thrombosis in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in D-D level between the two groups on the 1st day after operation (P>0.05), but the D-D level of the study group at 3 and 7 d after operation was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The level of FIB in the study group at 1, 3 and 7 d postoperatively was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The total satisfaction of nursing in the study group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of targeted nursing care in elderly patients with acute appendicitis after LA is helpful to prevent the formation of lower limb thrombosis and promote the early recovery after appendectomy.
