Abstract: Objective To analyze the effect of clinical nursing pathway (CNP) in patients with radical gastrectomy. Methods A total of 200 patients with gastric cancer admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to December 2019 were selected.According to the computer random sequence grouping method the patients were divided into control group and CNP group,100 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, the CNP group received CNP intervention. The rehabilitation indexes, quality of life, complications and nursing needs of the two groups were compared. Results The time of anal exhaust, gastric tube extraction,out-of-bed activity and hospitalization in CNP group were shorter than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The quality of life QOL score of CNP group was higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of complications of CNP group was lower than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of life nursing, pain nursing, emotional nursing, rehabilitation nursing, diet nursing, humanistic care and personalized needs in CNP group was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of basic nursing care in CNP group was not statistically significant difference compared with the control group (P>0.05).Conclusion CNP can improve the quality of life of patients after radical gastrectomy, reduce complications, and promote patients′ recovery.
