Abstract:Objective To study the application of nasal irrigation after nasal endoscopy in relieving nasal ventilation. Methods A total of 150 patients underwent endoscopic sinus surgery admitted to our hospital from May 2017 to February 2020 were selected and randomly divided into two groups according to random number table method, with 75 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with nasal lavage fluid. The symptom score, visual analogue score(VAS) and Lund-Kennedy endoscopy score and treatment effect of the two groups were compared. Results The nasal congestion, runny nose, smell, headache, and cheek pain scores of the observation group after nasal endoscopy were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The VAS score and Lund-Kennedy endoscopy score of the observation group after treatment were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group after treatment was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Nasal irrigation after nasal endoscopy plays an important role in improving the efficacy of nasal ventilation, which is worthy of research and promotion.
