Effect of evidence-based nursing in children with asthma nebulization inhalation and its influence on children′s respiratory function and family satisfaction

Abstract：Objective To provide evidence-based nursing for children with asthma inhalation therapy for children with asthma,and to analyze the nursing effect,the improvement of respiratory function and the satisfaction of family members.Methods A total of 102 pediatric asthma children treated by atomization inhalation in Dalian Children′s Hospital Affiliated to Dalian Medical University from September 2018 to August 2019 were selected as the research objects,and divided into A and B groups according to the random digital table method,51 cases in each group.Group A was given routine basic nursing,on this basis,group B was given evidence-based nursing.The respiratory function and family satisfaction after nursing were compared between the two groups..Results The total effective rate of nursing in group B(94.1%) was higher than that in group A (76.5%),the difference was statistically significant (χ2=6.331,P<0.05).The disappearance time of wheezing,cough disappearance,and chest tightness disappeared in group B patients and respiratory function recovery time were shorter than those in group A,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);the forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1),forced vital capacity (FVC),and FEV1/FVC were higher than those of this group before intervention,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); FEV1,FVC,FEV1/FVC of group B after intervention were higher than those in group A,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the nursing total satisfaction of family members in group B (98.0%) was higher than that in group A (84.3%),the difference was statistically significant (χ2=4.387,P<0.05).Conclusion Evidence-based nursing of pediatric asthma patients undergoing nebulized inhalation therapy is very effective,can significantly improve the respiratory function of children,and can increase family satisfaction,which is worthy of vigorous implementation.
