Abstract：Since the end of 2019,many cases of pneumonia of unknown cause have been emerged in Wuhan (Hubei,China).It was later confirmed that this unknown pneumonia was caused by a new type of coronavirus infection.It was named as "novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP)" in China.As early as the National Health Commission released the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Diagnosis and Treatment Programme (trial version 4),the disease has been included as a class B infectious disease in the Law of the People′s Republic of China on the Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Diseases,but with prevention and control measures in a class A infectious disease.The sudden COVID-19 epidemic also tests the emergency response capabilities of our country′s and the units′ management system to react to public health emergencies.The core medical system refers to the relevant system and work guidelines that medical institutions and their staff should strictly abide by in their daily diagnosis and treatment activities.It is not only the cornerstone of ensuring medical quality and safety,but also an important rule and system to prevent medical accidents.It includes 18 core items.During the epidemic prevention period,it should be strictly followed,but also be implemented flexibly,especially to the gathering of personnel.To avoid the gathering of personnel to cause the spread of COVID-19 and protect the safety of doctors and patients,it is necessary to make good use of information tools in the information era,such as carrying out online work through OA system,WeChat work groups,QQ work groups,etc.Make sure that all core systems are closely focused on medical safety and epidemic prevention and control.
