Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of quick acupuncture therapy on immediate blood pressure in patients with irascibility hyperactivity essential hypertension. Methods A total of 140 patients with irascibility hyperactivity essential hypertension admitted to Department of Community of Zhongguancun Hospital from February 2019 to February 2020 were selected as the research objects and divided into the treatment group and the control group by the random number table method, with 70 patients in each group.Patients in the treatment group were given quick acupuncture and patients in the control group were given retaining acupuncture.Blood pressures, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)symptom scores before and after treatment, the therapeutic effect and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared. Results The systolic blood pressures, diastolic blood pressures and TCM symptom scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.01).There were no statistically significant differences in the systolic blood pressures, diastolic blood pressures and TCM symptom scores of the two groups after treatment (P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total effective rate between the treatment group (75.71%) and the control group (74.29%) (P>0.05).Conclusion Quick and retaining acupuncture on patients with irascibility hyperactivity essential hypertension have a significant immediate effect of lowering blood pressure and effect of improving the TCM symptoms of hypertension. Both of them have similar efficacy, but quick acupuncture has the advantage of convenient and fast operation, which can be popularized as an immediate antihypertensive method in clinical practice.
