Abstract:Objective To explore the characteristics of high-frequency ultrasound sonograms and color Doppler blood flow Adler classification differences between benign and malignant thyroid nodules and provide a basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods A total of 500 patients with thyroid nodules who admitted to the Department of Ultrasound in Jinzhou Central Hospital from May 2018 to May 2019 were selected as the research objects and divided into the benign nodule group (269 cases) and the malignant nodule group (231 cases) according to the pathological results. The characteristics of high-frequency ultrasound sonograms (including internal echo, surrounding echo, lymph node metastasis, boundary conditions and microcalcifications) and color Doppler flow Adler grading were compared between the two groups..Results The percentage of low internal echo,no echo around, lymph node metastasis, microcalcification foci and unorganized boundary in the malignant nodule group were higher than those in the benign nodule group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The difference of blood flow Adler classification between benign nodule group and malignant nodule group was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The high-frequency ultrasound image of malignant thyroid nodules has certain characteristics, and the color Doppler ultrasound blood flow Adler classification is significantly different from benign thyroid nodules.
