Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of capsular tension ring (CTR) on visual acuity,intraocular pressure and complications of patients with subluxation of lens.Methods A total of 80 patients with subluxation of lens who were admitted to the Department of Ophthalmology in Shenyang 4th People′s Hospital of from May 2015 to March 2020 were selected as the research objects,they were divided into a control group (40 cases,73 eyes) and an observation group(40 cases,72 eyes) according to the random number table method.The control group received phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation (Phaco + IOL),and the observation group received CTR on the basis of the control group.The intraocular pressure,visual acuity level and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups before and 3 months after operation..Results There were no significant differences in the intraocular pressure and visual acuity level between the two groups before operation (P>0.05).There months after operation,the intraocular pressure of both groups were lower than those before operation,and the visual acuity levels of both groups were higher than those before operation,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There months after operation,the intraocular pressure of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the visual acuity level was higher than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total postoperative complication rate of the observation group was 9.72%,which was lower than 21.92% in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with subluxation of lens,adjuvant treatment CTR besides Phaco+IOL surgery has a remarkable effect,which can effectively reduce intraocular pressure,improve visual acuity,and decrease postoperative complications.
