Abstract:Objective To compare the effect, complication and influgnce on blood glucose of tymamtic injection and retroaurel injection of Ankylosaurus in the treatment of low frequancy desconding suddon sensorineural hearing loss with type 2 diabetes..Methods From January 2016 to June 2018,72 patients with low-frequency descending sudden deafness accompanied by type 2 diabetes were selected and randomly divided into tympanic injection group and retroaural injection group with 36 cases each according to simple randomization. Both groups received conventional treatment. On this basis, the tympanic injection group and the posterior auricular injection group received methylprednisolone injections into the tympanic cavity and behind the ear, respectively. The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of patients of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the post-auricular injection group was 80.56%,and the total effective rate of the tympanic injection group was 66.67%.The total effective rate of the post-auricular injection group was higher than that of the tympanic injection group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 14 days of treatment, the hearing thresholds of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);the hearing improvement value of the behind the ear injection group was higher than that of the tympanic cavity injection group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no risk of tympanic membrane perforation in the post-auricular injection group, the incidence of local pain and transient vertigo in the behind the ear injection group were 22.22% and 5.56%,respectively;the tympanic injection group was 63.89% and 27.78%,the rate of local pain and the incidence of transient vertigo in the tympanic cavity injection group were higher than those in the behind the ear injection group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Behind-auricular injection of methylprednisolone has good curative effect in the treatment of low-frequency descending sudden deafness with type 2 diabetes, and it is simple and practical. It can be popularized and applied in clinic.
