Abstract:Objective To study the effect of situational simulation nursing on the daily life ability,the improvement degree of the condition and the self-care ability of patients with bipolar disorder.Methods The clinical data of 62 patients with bipolar affective disorder who were treated in Jiujiang Fifth People′s Hospital,Jiangxi Province from December 2018 to September 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.They were divided into control group and observation group according to different intervention methods,31 cases in each group.The control group was given routine treatment,and observation group was given situational simulation nursing based on control group.Both groups were continuously nursing for 3 weeks.The daily living ability,condition improvement and self-care ability of the two groups of patients before intervention and after 3 weeks of intervention were compared.Results The scores of activities of daily living (ADL)before intervention between the two groups,there was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05);the ADL scores of the two groups after intervention for 3 weeks were lower than those before intervention,and the observation group was lower than the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Nurses′ observation scale for inpatient evaluation (NOSIE) score between the two groups before the intervention,the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05);the NOSIE scores of the two groups after intervention for 3 weeks were higher than those before intervention,and the observation group was higher than the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The scores of the exercise of self-care agency scale (ESCA) before intervention between the two groups,there was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05);the ESCA scores of the two groups after intervention for 3 weeks were higher than those before intervention,and the observation group was higher than the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The use of situational simulated nursing intervention for patients with bipolar disorder can significantly improve the patient′s daily life ability,promote the improvement of the condition and enhance self-care ability,which is conducive to the patient′s prognosis and is worthy of popularization and use.
