Abstract:Objective To explore the value of He-Ne laser combined with Chinese medicine fumigation in the treatment of vulvar squamous epithelial hyperplasia. Methods A total of 80 patients with vulval squamous epithelial hyperplasia admitted to Shangrao Maternal and Child Health Hospital from February 2017 to February 2019 were selected and divided into observation group (n=40) and control group (n=40) according to the principle of random number table method. The patients in control group were treated with He-Ne laser. On the basis of the control group, the patients in observation group were treated with fumigation and washed with traditional Chinese medicine.Clinical efficacy, clinical symptom score, recurrence and adverse event incidence were compared between the two groups. Results The total clinical effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Pruritus,dryness and desquamation scores of patients in the observation group after 1 month of treatment were all lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).The total recurrence rate of the observation group after 1 year follow-up was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).No drug-related allergic reactions or other adverse reactions were found during the treatment. Conclusion He-Ne laser combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation can improve the clinical symptoms of patients with vulvar squamous epithelial hyperplasia, reduce the recurrence rate, and has high safety, which is worthy of clinical application
