Experience analysis of professor CHEN Xiang-jun in treating rheumatoid arthritis

Abstract：Rheumatoid Arthritis(RA) is a chronic,inflammatory autoimmune disease mainly characterized by symmetrical arthritis,minor arthritis,and polyarthritis.RA can cause patients pain,disability,decreased quality of life,and death.Traditional Chinese Medicine in treating RA can bring hope to RA patients.This article analyzes the thoughts of Professor CHEN Xiang-jun in the treatment of RA in terms of the etiology and pathogenesis of RA,staged differentiation of symptoms and signs,rational use of insect medicines,the treatment method of the internal and external combined treatment of chinese herbs,and typical cases.It initially summarized Professor CHEN Xiang-jun′s diagnosis and treatment strategies,and medication experience based on therapeutic method of strengthening healthy qi,treatment method of the internal and external combined treatment of chinese herbs.It is expected to improve the efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in treating RA.
