Abstract：Objective To study the effect of Ambroxol Hydrochloride on chronic bronchitis.Methods A total of 200 patients of chronic bronchitis admitted to Tiemei General Hospital of Liaoning Health Industry Group from January 2018 to March 2019 were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into the observation group (100 cases)and the control group (100 cases) according to the drawing lots method.The observation group was treated with Ambroxol Hydrochloride,and the control group was treated with conventional drug therapy.Cough disappearance time,fever reduction time,dyspnea time,hospitalization time,forced expiratory volume in one second as percentage of predicted volume (FEV1%),forced expiratory volume in the first second (FEV1) and total effective rate were compared between the two groups.Results The cough disappearance time,antipyretic time,hospitalization time and dyspnea time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05);FEV1% and FEV1 of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05);the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P ＜0.05).Conclusion Ambroxol Hydrochloride is effective in the treatment of chronic bronchitis.
