Abstract:Patients with esophageal cancer are already in the middle and advanced stage, and some have lost the opportunity of operation.Neoadjuvant chemotherapy is a research hotspot in the comprehensive treatment of locally advanced esophageal cancer in recent years, because it can reduce the size of the tumor and reduce its pathological staging. For locally advanced esophageal cancer patients for surgical opportunities, and will not increase postoperative complications, prolong the survival time. The regimen of neoadjuvant chemotherapy is constantly updated with the development of chemotherapeutic drugs, which achieves a better clinical effect and reduces the reaction of patients after chemotherapy.Because esophageal cancer limits its intake of nutrients, and the adverse reactions of chemotherapy to the body increase the nutritional risk and psychological burden of patients, perioperative nursing care of patients after neoadjuvant chemotherapy,in addition to routine postoperative nursing, more attention should be paid to patients′ nutritional level, psychological problems, and complications caused by chemotherapy.
