Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of improved nutrition management on nutritional status and blood glucose in patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy (DN).Methods A total of 60 patients with type 2 DN who were received in Fuzhou First People′s Hospital,Jiangxi Province from October 2017 to November 2019 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into two groups according to random number table method,30 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nutrition management, and observation group was given improved nutrition management. The nutritional status, renal function indexes (body mass index [BMI],glycated hemoglobin [HbA1c],blood urea nitrogen [BUN]and blood glucose were compared between two groups before treatment and after treatment for 2 months. Results There was no statistical difference in the BMI,BUN and HbA1c between two groups before nursing (P>0.05).The BMI of two groups after nursing was higher than that before nursing, the HbA1c and BUN after nursing were lower than those before nursing, the BMI of observation group was higher than that of control group after nursing, and the HbA1c and BUN in observation group were lower than those in control group, the fasting blood glucose and postprandial 2 h blood glucose in two groups after nursing were lower than those before nursing, and observation group was lower than control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Improved nutrition management for patients with type 2 DN can improve nutritional status and renal function, and control blood glucose, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
