Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of nursing intervention mode under the guidance of Omaha system in preventing postpartum depression.Methods A total of 60 parturients who gave birth in Jiujiang Maternal and Child Health Hospital,Jiangxi Province from December 2017 to December 2018 were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table method,30 cases in each group.In the control group,routine nursing was used,and in the observation group,nursing intervention guided by the Omaha system was adopted.The depression score,sleep quality and quality of life between the two groups were compared.Results There was no statistical difference in depression scores between the two groups before the intervention (P>0.05).After 12-month intervention,the depression scores of the two groups were lower than before the intervention,the depression score in the observation group was (8.19±1.54) points after 12-month intervention,lower than that in the control group of (11.33±1.98) points,with statistical differences (P<0.05).Before intervention,there was no statistical difference in the sleep quality between the two groups (P>0.05).The sleep quality scores after 12-month intervention were lower than those before the intervention in the two groups,12-month sleep quality in the observation group score was (7.13±1.57) points,lower than the control group of (9.43±1.28) points,with statistical differences (P<0.05).In the observation group,after 12-month intervention,the scores of physiological function,mental state,social function,and emotional function were (72.39±5.42),(66.71±5.17),(70.49±6.38),(68.45±4.98) points,higher than those of the control group of (67.53±5.52),(59.83±5.64),(64.23±6.32),(62.49±5.29) points,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention under the guidance of the Omaha system is beneficial to prevent postpartum depression in parturients,improve their sleep quality and quality of life,and is worthy of clinical application.
