Abstract:Objective To explore nurses′ job burnout and mental health status in hospitals of different grades in Wuhu City.Methods A total of 582 nurses from 13 hospitals of different grades in Wuhu City from January to June 2019 were selected by random sampling method.According to the different grades of hospitals,the nurses were divided into three groups,105 cases in the primary hospital group,225 cases in the secondary hospital group and 252 cases in the tertiary hospital group.All of them were investigated by nursing burnout scale (NBS),self-rating anxiety scale (SAS)and self-rating depression scale (SDS).Results The NBS total score,scores of common source of stress,nurses′ job burnout and scores of SAS among three groups,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total scores of NBS,common source of stress,nurses′ job burnout and the scores of SAS in the tertiary hospital group were higher than those of the secondary and primary hospital groups,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total scores of NBS,common source of stress,nurses′ job burnout and the scores of SAS in the secondary hospital group were higher than those of primary hospital group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that SAS scores of nurses in all grade hospitals were positively correlated with total score of NBS(P<0.05).Conclusion The higher the grade of the hospital the stricter the management of nurses.The greater the work pressure of nurses,the more serious their nurse′job burnout and the worse their mental health.
