Abstract：Objective To observe the application effect of fumigation and sitting bath on postoperative pain of perianal abscess with Compound Gallnut Lotion.Methods A total of 120 patients admitted to Changde First Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2018 to March 2019 who underwent perianal abscess incision and drainage were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into the experimental group (60 cases) and the control group (60 cases) according to the random alphabet method.On the basis of conventional dressing and anti-inflammatory treatment,the experimental group received fumigation sitz bath with Compound Gallnut Lotion,the control group received sitz bath with potassium permanganate,the visual analogue score (VAS),quality of life score before treatment and after 2,8,14 days of treatment and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups.Results Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in the VAS and quality of life scores between the two groups (P＞0.05).After 2,8,14 days of treatment,VAS scores were lower in both groups than those before treatment,and quality of life scores were higher in both groups than those before treatment,and after 2,8,14 days of treatment,VAS scores in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,and life quality scores in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion After perianal abscess surgery,the use of Compound Gallnut Lotion fumigation sitz bath can reduce postoperative pain,improve the quality of life of patients after surgery,and improve the treatment effect.
