Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of peptic ulcer treated by the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Methods A total of 200 patients with peptic ulcer admitted in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shenyang Medical College from January 2018 to November 2019 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into observation group and control group according to the computer random number method,100 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with triple therapy of Western medicine alone, and the patients in the observation group were treated with integrated Chinese and Western medicine. The clinical effect,Helicobacter pylori (Hp) clearance rate, adverse reaction rate and recurrence rate of 6 months follow-up were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.00%,higher than that of the control group (77.00%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The Hp clearance rate in the observation group was 88.00%,higher than 71.00% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 9.00%,lower than that in the control group(23.00%),with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the recurrence rate between the two groups after 6 months of follow-up (P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment of peptic ulcer patients with combination of Chinese and Western medicine can improve the curative effect and eliminate Hp better than that of single western medicine.
