Application of comprehensive health intervention in children with simple obesity

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive health care intervention in children with simple obesity.Methods A total of 116 simple obese preschool children managed by Pingdi Preventive Health Care Institute of Longgang District,Shenzhen City,Guangdong Province from July 2017 to June 2018 were randomly divided into control group (n=58) and observation group (n=58).The control group was treated only with diet intervention and the observation group was treated with comprehensive health care intervention.The obesity rate,obesity degree,body mass index and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results The obesity rate and complication rate of simple obese children in the observation group after one year of intervention were lower than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);the obesity degree and body mass index in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive health care intervention can not only effectively control the degree of obesity and body mass index of simple obese children,but also reduce the incidence of complications and the rate of childhood obesity.
