Abstract:Objective To analyze the impact of cognitive function training on motor function and daily living ability for elderly cerebral infarction (CVA) patients. Methods A total of 60 elderly CVA patients from January 2017 to January 2019 treated in our hospital were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group (n=30) and study group (n=30) according to random number table method. The control group took the conventional drug therapy and rehabilitation training;on the basis, the study group took the cognitive function training. Before intervention, after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention, patient′s cognitive function, motor function and daily living ability were appraised through Montreal cognitive assessment (MoCA),mini-mental state examination (MMSE),Fugl-Meyer assessment of motor function (FMA),Berg balance scale (BBS) and Barthel index (BI).Results Before intervention,MoCA,MMSE,FMA,BBS and BI scores between two groups were not significantly different (P>0.05);after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention,MoCA,MMSE,FMA,BBS,BI scores of two groups were higher than those before intervention, and MoCA,MMSE,FMA,BBS and BI scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05).Conclusion The conventional rehabilitation training combined with cognitive function training can delay or control the progression of cognitive disorder to improve patient′s motor function, daily living ability, and quality of life. Its application has broad prospects.
