Abstract:Objective To construct a scientific and feasible objective structure clinical examination (OSCE) evaluation indexes for clinical practice ability of higher vocational nursing students. Methods Based on literature review, the Delphi expert inquiry method was used for two rounds of expert consultation and finally determined the OSCE evaluation indexes for clinical practice ability of higher vocational nursing students. Results The OSCE evaluation indexes for clinical practice ability of higher vocational nursing students included 6 first-level indicators, which were health history collection, physical and mental assessment, skill operation, health education, critical thinking and professional accomplishment, involving 25 second-level indicators. The expert consultation is representative and credible. Conclusion The OSCE evaluation indexes for clinical practice ability of higher vocational nursing students can be used to evaluate the clinical practice ability and provide reference for higher vocational nursing teaching reform.
