Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of hysteroscopic cold knife resection and electroresection in the treatment of infertility of endometrial polyps. Methods A total of 98 infertility patients with endometrial polyps treated in the First People′s Hospital of Chenzhou City in Hu′nan Province from November 2020 to May 2021 were selected as research objects, they were divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method, with 49 cases in each group. Hysteroscopic electroresection was performed in the control group, and hysteroscopic cold knife resection was performed in the observation group. The postoperative follow-up time was 6 months. The perioperative related indexes, menstrual volume, complications, recurrence and pregnancy were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time and postoperative vaginal bleeding time in the observation group ([16.65±3.27] min, [2.04±0.35] d] were shorter than those in the control group ([25.92±3.24] min, [5.32±0.46] d), with significant differences (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in intraoperative bleeding, pictorial blood loss assessment chart (PBAC) score, the incidence of complication and recurrence rate between the two groups (P>0.05). The 6-month pregnancy rate in the observation group was 65.31%, which was higher than 34.69% in the control group, with significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion Hysteroscopic cold knife resection and electroresection can achieve definite results in the treatment of infertility of endometrial polyps, but hysteroscopic cold knife resection can further shorten the operation and postoperative vaginal bleeding time and improve the pregnancy rate, which is worthy of further clinical promotion.
