Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of ultrasound-guided Mammotome system in the treatment of benign breast tumors. Methods A total of 100 patients with benign breast tumors in Guangzhou Women and Children′s Medical Center from March 2019 to March 2021 were retrospectively selected as the research objects, and they were divided into control group (n=47) and observation group (n=53) according to the surgical plan. The control group was treated with traditional breast benign tumor resection, and the observation group was treated with ultrasound-guided Mammotome system, the operative indicators, postoperative complications and therapeutic effect were compared between the two groups. Results The operative duration, intraoperative blood loss, healing time and scar size in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistical significances (P<0.05). The total incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total effective rate of observation group was higher than control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of benign breast tumors, ultrasound-guided Mammotome system has more significant clinical effect, faster healing, higher safety and minimally invasive advantages.
