Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of Insulin pump in patients with sudden deafness and diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 60 patients with sudden deafness and diabetes mellitus admitted to General Hospital of Pingxiang Mining Group Co., Ltd. from September 2017 to September 2020 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The treatment methods for sudden deafness were the same in the two groups. The control group was treated with routine hypoglycemic therapy, and the treatment group was treated with Insulin pump. The effect of hearing and blood glucose control were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no significant differences between the two groups in fasting blood glucose and two hours postprandial blood glucose (P>0.05). The time of reaching the standard of blood glucose in the treatment group was shorter than that in the control group, the amount of insulin in the treatment group was less than that in the control group, the effective control rate of blood glucose in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Insulin pump applied in patients with sudden deafness and diabetes mellitus can effectively control blood glucose and improve the curative effect of sudden deafness.
