Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of early activity management scheme of kinesiophobia in elderly patients undergoing hip arthroplasty (THA). Methods A total of 60 patients with postoperative kinesiophobia after THA treated in Jiujiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2019 to October 2021 were selected as the research object. They were divided into control group (30 cases) and observation group (30 cases) by random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing care, and the observation group was given the early activity management plan for kinesiophobia on the basis of the control group. The level of kinesiophobia, pain, postoperative rehabilitation, hip function and the total incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the scores of tampa scale of kinesiophobia (TSK) and visual analogue scale in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistical significances (P<0.05). The first time out of bed activity time and hospital stay in the control group were shorter than those in the control group, with statistical significances (P<0.05). The score of hip function scale (HHS) in the observation group was higher than that in the control group 3 months after operation, with statistical significance (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications was lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion The early activity management scheme of kinesiophobia can reduce the kinesiophobia symptoms and postoperative pain of elderly THA patients, reduce complications, promote the postoperative rehabilitation of patients, and is conducive to the early recovery of hip function.
