Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of link-based health education model on the breastfeeding of primiparas and the nursing ability of newborns. Methods A total of 80 primiparas admitted to Nanchang First Hospital from June 2020 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects, and divided into observation group (n=40) and control group (n=40) according to random number table method. The control group received routine health education, and the observation group received link health education on the basis of the control group. The scores of knowledge related to puerperal period (puerperal activity, perineal care, emotion regulation during puerperal period, prevention and treatment of maternal and infant complications during puerperal period), neonatal care ability score (breastfeeding, neonatal jaundice observation, neonatal umbilical care), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), self-rating depression scale (SDS), breastfeeding rate and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of postpartum activities, perineum care, puerperal emotional regulation and prevention of puerperal complications in observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of breast feeding, neonatal jaundice observation and neonatal umbilical nursing after nursing in observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The SDS and SAS scores in observation group after nursing were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The breastfeeding rate of observation group was 90.00%, higher than that of control group (70.00%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction of observation group was 95.00%, higher than 77.50% of control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The link health education model can improve the ability of breastfeeding and newborn care of primipara, which should be paid attention to clinically.
