Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of rehabilitation therapy of traditional Chinese medicine on limb function of patients with spastic hemiplegia after stroke. Methods A total of 60 patients with spastic hemiplegia after stroke treated by Liaoning Provincial Disabled Persons Service Center from August 2020 to August 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and treatment group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine Western medical treatment and rehabilitation treatment, and the treatment group was treated with acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine fumigation, traditional Chinese medicine massage and other traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation measures on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 30 days. The modified Ashworth muscle tone grading scores, Fugl-Meyer motor function scores and Berg balance scale scores of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the modified Ashworth muscle tone grading scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the scores of Fugl-Meyer motor function and Berg balance scale were higher than those before treatment, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). After treatment, the improved Ashworth muscle tone grading score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, and the scores of Fugl-Meyer motor function and Berg balance scale were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation method is effective in the treatment of patients with spastic hemiplegia after stroke, which can promote the recovery of limb function and improve the rehabilitation effect.
