Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of low temperature combined with compression dual hemostasis in radial artery puncture of coronary angiography. Methods A total of 308 patients who underwent coronary angiography through radial artery puncture in the Department of Cardiology of Nanfang Hospital from August 2020 to January 2021 were selected as research objects, and they were divided into the test group 1 (103 cases), the test group 2 (103 cases) and the control group (102 cases) according to the random number table method. The test group 1 was pre charged with cold saline hemostasis, the test group 2 was pre charged with cold alcohol hemostasis, and the control group was compressed with conventional hemostasis. The incidence of bleeding or hematoma at the puncture site, the swelling of the palm on the surgical side, pain degree, compression time and the rate of radial artery occlusion were compared among the three groups. Results The degree of the swelling of the palm on the surgical side and pain degree of the test group 1 were lower than those of the test group 2, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in the incidence of bleeding or hematoma at the puncture site, the compression time and the rate of radial artery occlusion between the two groups (P>0.05). The incidence of bleeding or hematoma at the puncture site, the degree of the swelling of the palm on the surgical side, and the degree of pain in the test group 1 and the test group 2 were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P=0.003, P<0.001, P<0.001, respectively), while there were no significant differences in compression time and radial artery occlusion rate among test group 1, test group 2 and the control group (P>0.05). Conclusion Cold liquid prefilling hemostasis device used for hemostasis at the puncture site of the radial artery during coronary angiography can effectively reduce bleeding and swelling at the puncture site after operation, reduce pain, and provide long-term cold compress with low-temperature medium for better effect.
