Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Tiotropium Bromide Inhalation in the treatment of chronic bronchitis. Methods A total of 45 patients with chronic bronchitis treated in the Department of Respiratory of the First Hospital of Nanchang City from January to December 2018 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into 22 cases in the control group and 23 cases in the study group by odd even grouping method. The control group was treated with routine treatment. The study group was given Tiotropium Bromide Inhalation on the basis of routine treatment. The clinical efficacy, pulmonary function, arterial partial pressure of oxygen and adverse reactions were compared between two groups. Results The total effective rate of clinical efficacy, forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1)/forced vital capacity (FVC), FEV1, peak expiratory flow (PEF) and arterial oxygen partial pressure in the study group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). One patient in the study group had dry mouth side effect during medication. Conclusion Tiotropium Bromide Inhalation can improve clinical symptoms, pulmonary function and arterial partial pressure of oxygen in patients with chronic bronchitis, and the incidence of adverse reactions is low.
