Objective To explore the effect of humanistic care combined with predictive nursing on the cognitive function and negative emotions of patients with epilepsy. Methods A total of 120 epilepsy patients admitted to Guangdong 999 Brain Hospital from July 2020 to May 2021 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into control group (60 cases) and observation group (60 cases) according to the random number table method. Both groups of patients were treated with conventional epilepsy treatment. The control group received routine nursing care,while the observation group received humanistic care combined with predictive nursing on the basis of the control group. The cognitive function, anxiety and depression scores of the two groups of patients before and after the intervention were compared. Results There were no significant differences in the cognitive function, anxiety and depression scores of patients in the two groups before the intervention (P>0.05). The cognitive function scores of patients in the two groups after the intervention were higher than those before the intervention, and the scores of anxiety and depression were both lower than those before the intervention, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The cognitive function score of observation group after intervention was higher than that of the control group,and the anxiety and depression scores were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Humanistic care combined with predictive nursing can improve the cognitive function of epilepsy patients and reduce their negative emotions.
