Application effect of multiple decontamination combined cleaning method in non-detachable orthopedic hollow electric drill

Objective To explore the application effect of multiple decontamination combined cleaning methods in the non-detachable orthopedic hollow electric drill, in order to find a correct and effective cleaning method. Methods A total of 120 pieces of non-detachable orthopedic hollow electric drills used in orthopedic surgery in Sichuan Forestry Central Hospital from March 2019 to May 2021 were randomly and equally divided into traditional group and improved group, with 60 cases in each group. The traditional group used wiping cleaning method to clean all parts of the main engine, drill chuck without soaking, brushing or washing, and cavity channel without brushing or washing. In the improved group, multiple decontamination combined cleaning methods were adopted, multi-enzyme solution pre-soaking drill chuck+professional brush brushing+high pressure water gun washing+wiping cleaning. The cleaning quality was compared by visual inspection and occult blood test. Results The qualified rates of visual inspection and occult blood test after cleaning in the improved group were higher than those in the traditional group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The correct and effective combined cleaning method of multiple decontamination can significantly improve the cleaning quality of non-detachable orthopedic hollow electric drill.
