Abstract:Objective To explore the appliccation value of continuous nursing in patients with respiratory failure. Methods A total of 46 discharged patients with respiratory failure in the Department of Respiratory Medicine of Ganzhou Municipal Hospital from January 2019 to may 2020 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into the control group (23 cases) and the observation group (23 cases) according to random number table method. The control group received routine continuation nursing, while the observation group adopted continuous nursing. The compliance and the readmission rate of the two groups were compared. Results The compliance score of the observation group was higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The readmission rate of the observation group was 8.70%, which was lower than 26.09% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of self-care ability and the total score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of continuous nursing for patients with respiratory failure is significant, which can effectively improve their compliance, significantly improve their self-care ability and reduce the readmission rate, so as to reduce the burden of patients and society, which is worthy of application.
