Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of sandplay method on the cooperation ability of nursing team in operating room. Methods A total of 50 nurses in the operating room of Jiujiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the research objects. According to odd and even number grouping method, they were divided into 5 groups,with 10 nurses in each group. During the three month period, each group was trained in group sandplay twice a month,once a hour using the blind principle. A sandplay therapist of Jiujiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was responsible for the arrangement and execution of sandplay. The nursing team cooperation and patients′ satisfaction before and after sandplay intervention were compared. Results After the intervention, the scores of trust and support, team mental model, team leadership and team orientation of nursing team were higher than those before the intervention, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After the intervention, the patients′ total satisfaction was improved than that before intervention, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The introduction of sandplay into the management of operating room nursing team can effectively improve the communication and cooperation ability of nursing team. It can not only create a good atmosphere of operation cooperation, but also provide good conditions for the patients′ safety and improve the satisfaction of patients.
