Abstract:Objective To explore the diagnostic value of transvaginal ultrasonography combined with hysteroscopy for endometrial cancer. Methods From January 2019 to the end of April 2021, 93 patients with endometrial abnormalities by transvaginal ultrasonography and further performed with hysteroscopy who were admitted in Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were retrospectively selected as the research subjects. Transvaginal ultrasonography combined with hysteroscopy was performed using the surgical pathological results as the gold standard. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy of different diagnostic methods were compared with gold standard. Results Endometrial carcinoma was diagnosed by transvaginal ultrasonography in 8 cases, missed diagnosis in 2 cases and misdiagnosis in 1 case. 9 cases of endometrial carcinoma were diagnosed by transvaginal ultrasonography and hysteroscopy, 1 case was missed and 1 case was misdiagnosed. There were no statistically significant differences in sensitivity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy of transvaginal ultrasonography combined with hysteroscopy and transvaginal ultrasonography (P>0.05). Conclusion Transvaginal ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasonography combined with hysteroscopy in patients with endometrial cancer can toth effectively improve the clinical diagnosis rate, which can be used as a method for screening and disease evaluation of endometrial cancer, and provide an effective reference for clinical treatment of endometrial cancer.
