Effect of continuous nursing based on the theory of knowledge,belief,behavior and intervention on the level of hope and quality of life of patients with primary liver cancer

Abstract:Objective To explore the impact of continual nursing based on the theory of knowledge,attitude,belief,practice (KAP) on the level of hope and quality of life of patients with primary liver cancer interventional therapy.Methods A total of 279 patients with primary liver cancer who received interventional treatment from January 2019 to December 2020 in the First People′s Hospital of Zhaoqing City were selected as research objects,they were divided into research group (n=140) and control group (n=139) according to random number table method,the control group carried out routine nursing during the treatment process,and the research group carried out continuous nursing based on KAP theory,compare hope level,self-efficacy,nursing compliance rate and quality of life of two groups before and after nursing.Results The Herth hope scale (HHI),general self-efficacy scale (GSES) scores,nursing excellence rate,ability of daily living scale (ADL) and health-related quality of life scale (HRQOL) scores after nursing in the research group were all higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of continuation care based on KAP theory in the interventional treatment of patients with primary liver cancer can significantly increase the level of hope and self-efficacy of the patients.Under this care plan,patients have higher compliance and higher quality of life after care.Its clinical significance is great,and it is recommended to be further promoted.
