Abstract:Objective To explore the optimal extraction process of baicalin from Jinbei Huatan Granules by orthogonal test. Methods Water extraction technology was used to optimize the optimal water extraction process, with the extraction rate of baicalin from Scutellaria baicalensis in the prescription of Jinbei Huatan Granules and the rate of prescription ointment as indexes, and the effect of extraction multiple, extraction times and extraction time on the indexes were investigated by orthogonal experimental design. Verification tests were carried out. Results The optimal water extraction process of baicalin from Jinbei Huatan Granules was to add 10 times of water and extract for 3 times,each time for 2 hours.The results showed that the average transfer rate of baicalin was 78.96% and RSD was 4.035% in the optimal process.The average extraction rate was 47.48% and RSD was 1.11%, which proved that the extraction process was stable and feasible. Conclusion The optimized extraction process is reasonable and feasible, with high extraction rate and good reproducibility. It can provide technical reference for the development of modern preparation of Jinbei Huatan Granules.
