Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of retrospective outcome special attention nursing in preventing lower extremity deep venous thrombosis (DVT) in bedridden patients in intensive care unit (ICU). Methods A total of 70 patients admitted to ICU of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical College from January to December 2020 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 35 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received retrospective special attention nursing. The incidence of DVT, risk assessment of DVT and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of DVT in the observation group was lower than that in the control group during the nursing period, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After nursing, the risk level of DVT in the two groups were lower than those before nursing, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After nursing, the risk grade of DVT in observation group was lower than that in control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In the nursing of bedridden patients in ICU, retrospective outcome special attention nursing can better prevent DVT, reduce the risk of DVT, and improve nursing satisfaction.
