Abstract:Objective To analyze the application of health education in patients with chronic kidney disease. Methods A total of 80 patients with chronic kidney disease who were treated in Huazhong University of Science and Technology Union Shenzhen Hospital from June 2019 to June 2020 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into experimental group and control group with 40 cases in each group by random number table method. Patients in the control group received routine nursing interventions, and patients in the experimental group received comprehensive health education measures on the basis of routine nursing. The medical advice compliance rate, index control rate, selfmanagement score and nursing satisfaction rate of patients in the two groups were compared. Results The doctor′s order compliance rate and index control rate of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, the health behavior, health status, disease cognition,the quality of life, self-efficacy scores of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, the health behavior, health status, disease cognition, the quality of life, self-efficacy scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total satisfaction rate of nursing in experimental group was higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Proper health education and nursing intervention for patients with chronic kidney disease can significantly improve their quality of life, so health education should be promoted and applied as a necessary nursing content for patients with chronic kidney disease.
