Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of evidence-based nursing in patients with pre-hospital emergency sputum aspiration via oropharyngeal ventilation tube. Methods A total of 90 cases of patients admitted to our hospital from January to August 2019 for pre-hospital emergency sputum aspiration via oropharyngeal ventilation were selected as research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group(n=45) and the observation group (n=45).The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given evidence-based nursing. The length of stay, comfort level of sputum aspiration, frequency of sputum aspiration, duration of sputum aspiration, blood gas analysis indexes, total incidence of adverse reactions and interval of sputum aspiration were compared between the two groups. Results The length of stay in the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, the comfort level of sputum aspiration was higher than that of the control group, the frequency of sputum aspiration was less than that of the control group, and the duration of sputum aspiration was shorter than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in SaO2 and PaCO2 between the two groups 30 minutes before sputum aspiration (P>0.05).SaO2 in the observation group 30 minutes after sputum aspiration was higher than that 30 minutes before sputum aspiration, and PaCO2 was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the interval of sputum aspiration was longer than that in the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05).Conclusion The application effect of evidence-based nursing in pre-hospital emergency sputum aspiration via oropharyngeal ventilation tube can significantly improve the comfort of sputum aspiration, shorten the interval of sputum aspiration, and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
