Abstract:Objective To evaluate the intervention effect of outpatient and emergency antimicrobial prescription comments,therefore to promote rational use of antibacterials.Methods With the help of the clinical pharmacy management system (PASS),a total of 809 outpatient and emergency antimicrobial prescriptions from Jingdezhen First People′s Hospital were randomly selected from January to December in 2018 as the pre-intervention group,while a total of 871 outpatient and emergency antimicrobial prescriptions from Jingdezhen First People′s Hospital were randomly selected from January to December in 2019 as the post-intervention group,and then for prescription comment analysis.Results After intervention,the qualified rate of outpatient and emergency antibiotics prescription increased from 78.49% to 89.90%,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);the major problems,such as the use of antibiotics without indication,inappropriate selection of drugs,and the irrationality rate of drugs not conforming to hierarchical management were lower than those of the pre-intervention group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);before and after the intervention,antibiotics were mainly used by oral administration and single use.Conclusion Pharmacist intervention can effectively improve the quality of outpatient and emergency antimicrobial prescription,and to promote rational drug use.
