Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect and safety of Linaclotide combined with Compound Polyethylene Glycol Electrolyte Powder in bowel preparation before colonoscopy. Methods A total of 156 patients who underwent colonoscopy in Suzhou Kowloon Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from January to June 2020 were selected as study objects and divided into the control group, observation group A and observation group B by random number table method, with 52 cases in each group. The control group was given 3 bags of Compound Polyethylene Glycol Electrolyte Powder to clear the intestines, the observation group A was given Linaclotide combined with 2 bags of Compound Polyethylene Glycol Electrolyte Powder to clear the intestine, and the observation group B was given 2 bags of Compound Polyethylene Glycol Electrolyte Powder to clear the intestine.Intestinal cleanliness and the incidence of adverse reactions of patients in each group were compared. Results The scores of left semicolon, transverse colon, right semicolon and total Boston bowel preparation-aration scale (BBPS) in observation group B were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the scores of left semicolon, transverse colon, right semicolon and total BBPS between the observation group A and the control group (P>0.05).The scores of left semicolon, transverse colon, right semicolon and total BBPS in observation group A were higher than those in the obeservation group B (P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in observation group A and observation group B were both lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in total incidence of adverse reactions between observation group A and observation group B (P>0.05).Conclusion The intestinal preparation effect of Linaclotide combined with 2 bags of Compound Polyethylene Glycol Electrolyte Powder is approximately the same as that of 3 bags of Compound Polyethylene Glycol Electrolyte Powder, and it can reduce the total incidence of adverse reactions in the process of intestinal preparation, and has higher safety. Its intestinal cleaning effect is also better than that of 2 bags of Compound Polyethylene Clycol Electrolyte Powder.
