Abstract:Objective To observe the expression of serum ferritin (SF) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) in children with refractory Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (RMPP) and its predictive value for RMPP.Methods A total of 282 children with RMPP from October 2016 to October 2018 in our hospital were selected.A total of 180 children with Mycoplasma pneumoiae pneumonia (MPP) and 50 healthy children were selected as MPP group, control group. The expression levels of SF and LDH were detected. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to evaluate the specific indices for predicting RMMP.Results The levels of LDH and SF in RMPP group were higher than those of control group and MPP group (P<0.05).The levels of LDH and SF in MPP group were higher than those of control group (P<0.05).The level of LDH was positively correlated with the level of SF (r=0.254,P<0.05).The AUC,sensitivity and specificity of LDH combined with SF was higher than that of LDH and SF (P<0.05).Conclusion The high levels of LDH,SF in children with RMPP can predict RMPP.
