Abstract：Objective To explore the nursing effect of Qijiao moxibustion combined with acupoint application on osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures,abdominal distension and constipation.Methods A total of 80 patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures,abdominal distension and constipation from the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from March 2019 to March 2021 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.Both groups were given routine nursing care.On this basis,the control group received acupoint application nursing intervention,and the observation group received Qijiao moxibustion combined with acupoint application nursing for 3 weeks.The clinical symptoms improvement time of the two groups after nursing(improvement time of abdominal distension and constipation symptoms)were compared,patient assessment of constipation quality of life scale(PAC-QOL)scores of the two groups were compared before nursing and at the end of 3 weeks of nursing.Results After nursing,the time to improve the symptoms of abdominal distension in the observation group was shorter than that of the control group,and the time to improve symptoms of constipation was shorter than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After 3 weeks of nursing,the PAC-QOL scores of the two groups were lower than those before nursing,and the score of observation group was lower than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Qijiao moxibustion combined with acupoint application can shorten the time to improve the symptoms of abdominal distension and constipation in patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures,abdominal distension and constipation,and improve their quality of life.
