Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of nutritional intervention in the nursing of elderly patients with osteoporotic fractures. Methods A total of 68 elderly patients with osteoporotic fractures admitted to the Department of Geriatrics of Jiujiang First People′s Hospital from January to December 2020 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into control group (34 cases) and observation group (34 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group received routine intervention, and the observation group was given nutrition intervention. The motor function (FMA), life activity ability (Barthel index), quality of life and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results There were no significant differences in FMA and Barthel index between the two groups before nursing (P>0.05). After nursing, the FMA and Barthel indexes of the two groups were higher than those before nursing, and the scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in scores of quality of life between the two groups before nursing (P>0.05).After nursing, the scores of quality of life in both groups were higher than before nursing, and the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Nursing satisfaction of observation group was higher than control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In the nursing of elderly patients with osteoporotic fracture, nutritional intervention has a significant effect, which can effectively promote the improvement of patients′ motor function and living activity ability, and then improve the quality of life and nursing satisfaction of patients.
