Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of health education under the focus solution model in patients with osteoporotic fracture. Methods A total of 82 patients with osteoporotic fractures treated in Jiujiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2019 to October 2021 were selected as subjects. They were divided into control group (41 cases) and intervention group (41 cases) according to random number table method. The control group received routine health education, and the intervention group received health education under the focus solution model.Intervention lasted for 1 month in both groups. The motor function (Fugl-Meyer assessment [FMA]), mental state (symptom checklist-90 [SCL-90]) and fracture healing effect, complications and hospital stay were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results Before intervention, there were no significant differences in FMA and SCL-90 scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention, the FMA scores of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention, the SCL-90 scores of the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, the FMA score of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group, and the SCL-90 score was lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The excellent and good rate of fracture healing in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group, the total incidence of complications was lower than that in the control group, and the length of hospital stay was shorter than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). Conclusion Health education under the focus solution model is helpful to improve the motor function and psychological state of patients with osteoporotic fracture, and speed up the rehabilitation process.
