Abstract:Objective To analyze the causes of frequent attenders by multivariate logistic regression analysis. Methods A total of 5221 patients were retrospectively selected as the research objects who attended the General Outpatient Clinic of Anzhen Community Health Service Center, Chaoyang District, Beijing, from January 2020 to December 2020. Patients were divided into two groups by number of attendances. Frequent attenders group was who attended> 24 times per year; Non-frequent attenders group who attended ≤24 times per year. Influencing factors were compared between two groups. To find risk factors of frequent attenders by multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results Age, coronary heart disease, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, osteoarthropathy, osteoporosis, cerebrovascular disease, hyperlipidemia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and total number of chronic diseases in frequent attenders group were higher than those in non-frequent attenders group by single factor analysis, the difference were statistically significant (P<0.05). The risk factors of frequent attended were elderly patients (β=0.12, OR=1.22, 95%CI=1.07-1.38), coronary heart disease (β=0.51, OR=1.66, 95%CI=1.45-1.91), osteoarthropathy (β=0.55, OR=1.74, 95%CI=1.20-2.52), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (β=0.71, OR=2.04, 95%CI=1.76-2.37) and the total number of chronic diseases (β=0.78,OR=2.19, 95%CI=1.89-2.54) by multivariate logistic regression analysis (P<0.05). Conclusion Elderly patients, coronary heart disease, osteoarthropathy, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and the total number of chronic diseases were risk factors of frequent attended.
