Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of six step cancer notification model in the condition notification of young cervical cancer patients. Methods A total of 66 patients with cervical cancer admitted to our hospital from May to September 2019 were selected as the research objects and divided into two groups according to the random number table method,33 cases in each group. The control group used conventional cancer notification, and the experimental group used six step cancer notification model. The hope levels (Herth hope index [HHI],psychological burden[self-report numeric scale]),quality of life (generic quality of life inventory-74 [GQOLI-74]) of patients and life quality(caregiver quality of life [CQOL]) of caregivers were compared after 2 days of condition notification in the two groups. Results The HHI score of the patients in the experimental group was (34.67±3.24) points, and the self-report numeric scale score was (6.54±1.25) points after 2 days of condition notification, which were higher than those in the control group for (28.54±3.21) and (5.23±1.02) points respectively, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The GQOLI-74 physical function score of the patients in the experimental group was (53.67±5.33) points, the psychological function score was (50.58±4.89) points, the social function score was (51.54±5.35) points, and the material life score was (51.94±5.69) points, which were higher than the (48.56±5.30),(42.53±4.31),(43.67±5.32),(42.59±5.26) points in the control group respectively, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The CQOL physical condition score of the caregivers in the experimental group was (67.72±6.11) points, the mental state score was (60.27±5.31) points, the social function score was (62.46±6.14) points, and the mental status score was (67.83±6.11) points, which were higher than those in the control group for (48.52±5.32),(45.64±5.28),(46.83±5.10),(53.67±5.84) points respectively, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Using the six step cancer notification model to inform young cervical cancer patients can improve their life expectancy index, reduce their psychological burden, and improve the life quality of patients and their caregivers.
