Abstract:With the advancement of China′s medical and health system reform,public hospitals have gradually transformed from a traditional expansion business model to a connotative business model.Under the severe situation of constantly changing external environment,public hospitals need to change their management thinking,strengthen internal operation management,and further improve the efficiency of operation management.Hospital operating efficiency is an important part of the core competitiveness of public hospitals,and its improvement depends on the improvement of the operating efficiency of clinical departments.How to make an objective and true evaluation of the work of clinical departments through the presentation of operational efficiency data is also the focus and difficulty in the management process.This article uses the operational efficiency evaluation indicators in the three-level public hospital performance evaluation index system as a reference basis,according to the actual situation of the hospital,explores the establishment of easy-to-extract data and good general clinical department operation efficiency evaluation indicators.Using K-means clustering to explore and analyze,evaluate the operating efficiency indicators of 31 clinical departments in the hospital,and the results are divided into four categories: high,second-high,second-low,and low operating efficiency.The evaluation effect is helpful for the hospital to find the deficiencies of the clinical departments,and also provides a reference for the hospital to allocate medical resources and evaluate the performance of the clinical departments.
